We are Analiza and Gregorio from San Jose, California. After being married for ten years, we look forward to the next adventure in our lives…parenthood!

Analiza has a compassionate, patient, and adventurous spirit, which will make her an amazing mother. She is a also middle school teacher who thrives on nurturing positive experiences for her students and family members. She is excited about the opportunity to become a first-time mom. Gregorio is a loving and hard-working husband and business-owner. He has a wonderful sense of humor and excellent cooking skills. He will make a wonderful stay-at-home dad.

We live in the Japantown neighborhood of San Jose, which is located near our city’s downtown area. On the weekends, we enjoy cooking together and taking walks around our neighborhood and nearby parks. During the holidays, we love visiting our family members and sharing delicious meals or traveling to Hawaii to spend time together on the beach. We look forward to having our own child to share these experiences with us.

We hope to share many of our interests with our baby and the sense of accomplishment through completing projects as a family, whether it is rebuilding a home or automobile as Gregorio did with his father or designing clothing and hosting family celebrations like Analiza did with her mother.

About Us

We met as neighbors in the breathtaking city of San Francisco and grew closer to one another by sharing our interests in music, enjoying meals at our favorite restaurants, and spending time at the beaches in Santa Cruz. Our first date included an exciting day of skydiving and Thai food. Three years later, we moved to Hawaii and exchanged wedding vows. After being married for ten years, we are closer than ever. We are best friends who look forward to the next adventure in our lives…parenthood!

About Analiza written by Gregorio

Analiza is the terrific balance of someone who is self-motivated and hardworking. Her compassion, patience, and adventurous spirit will make her an amazing mother. She is a first generation Filipino-American and the first one in her family to graduate from college and pursue a post-graduate degree. She enjoys eating healthy and staying physically fit. As a middle school teacher, she uses this child like wonder to bring the best out of her students. She also encourages those around her to find moments of silliness through dance, art, or music.

Analiza looks forward to guiding our child to try new experiences. I imagine her taking our child to events in the downtown area, community centers, and museums. Since she cherishes her free time with family, I see her making travel plans to share her love of the tropical locations and warm beaches with our child. Analiza also looks forward to jogging around the neighborhood or coast with our child in an all-terrain stroller to share the beautiful outdoors and climate. I look forward to hearing Analiza put our child to sleep at night by reading him or her books and singing lullabies. Analiza is a firm believer in the benefits of education, and I see her reviewing homework and writing assignments with our child at the dinner table. Analiza thrives on nurturing positive experiences for her family and looks forward to the addition of a child into our lives.

About Gregorio written by Analiza

Gregorio is an intelligent, loyal, and hard-working husband who first captured my attention because of his intelligence but stole my heart because of the loving nature he has for me and my family. Gregorio spent his early childhood in Italy but has lived the majority of his life in California. Gregorio is a fabulous cook. He loves watching sports, especially soccer and football, and taking our dog on walks.

Gregorio will make an amazing stay-at-home dad. He is a self-employed engineer, who enjoys the perks of working from home. Gregorio has a calming nature about him and is a natural with taking care of babies.

I can’t wait to watch him play pat-a-cake with our child or teach him or her how to ride a bike. I also see him watching Saturday morning cartoons with our little one. Gregorio will make a wonderful father because of his loyalty to family, playful nature, and witty resourcefulness.

Our Home and Community

We live in the Japantown neighborhood of San Jose, which is located near our city’s downtown area. Our two-bedroom apartment gets a lot of natural light, and the guest room will be a perfect location for the baby’s room. We love our kitchen and spend a lot of time there cooking meals together. Our backyard patio is perfect for eating weekend brunches and preparing BBQs.

Outside of our front door are restaurants, coffee shops, a farmer’s market, and a neighborhood park. A diverse group of cultures live in our community. Since we are a bi-racial couple, it is important that our baby is exposed to a variety of cultures, including the baby’s native culture.

We are also located near the Tech Museum and Children’s Discovery Museum, which are both popular spots for the kids in our neighborhood. Less than an hour from our home are great hiking trails and beautiful beaches for us to explore. There are also many sporting events nearby for us to enjoy together.

Our Families

Our families are enthusiastic about the new addition to our family. With Italian and Filipino grandparents, we can expect an endless amount of parenting wisdom and hands on support.

Our Values and Goals for Raising a Child

We look forward to capturing the look of wonder on our child’s face when experiencing something new. We hope to share many of our interests with our baby and the sense of accomplishment through completing projects as a family, whether it is rebuilding a home or automobile as Gregorio did with his father or designing clothing and hosting family celebrations like Analiza did with her mother.

We look forward to introducing the baby to our friends and family members, sharing our cultural traditions together, and introducing our baby to the Catholic faith.
